The Sacred Camel Gardens and Retreats of Da Fear-No-More are a circumstance where sanctuary is already present. A guided weekend, or just a few hours, among our gentle herds of camels and horses will open and deepen your connection to non-humans, and life, in a unique way.

Commenced in 2006, the Sacred Camel Gardens emerges from the deep love between the spiritual teacher Adi Da Samraj and a large Bactrian bull camel he named "Jingle Baba". Jingle Baba passed away in 2004. Since then we have been steadily working toward the creation of a unique herd of Bactrian camels to carry Jingle Baba's gift forward in time.

Our camels are not trained by conventional methods. We are fortunate to have the guidance and wisdom of horse master, Carolyn Resnick, to mentor our engagement of our camels and horses. Their integrity and intelligence are respected and honored. Approached sensitively, the camels and horses show us how best to relate to them. This in turn strengthens our capacity to respect ourselves and others.
