I'm the wife of a wonderful husband, and the mother of two precious baby girls. I love music (of almost all kinds) and the arts, but I'm very interested in politics and government as well. I love my Heavenly Father, and I only want to do what is right by Him. I will admit that I often fall short of the glory of God, but He loves me still. He has loved me since before time, and He loves me now. He loves you too. Seek HIM with all of your heart...and you will find that He's always been by your side. BELIEVING IS NOT SEEING. FAITH IS SEEING. If you put your Faith in God...then He will light every darkened pathway that you travel, and He will see you through to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. This isn't something that I've always felt, but I did believe that God IS real and that He created the Heavens and the Earth and ALL that is good. The problem was that I felt that He could never love me. Why would anyone love me...right? I was nothing special! WRONG! I was created with my own talents and desires of the heart. God only wants us to live each day in His image so that we can become more like Him. But...for me that seemed impossable...and part of me simply didn't want to give up the things that I enjoyed and the way of life that I had made for myself. I couldn't see God! I could not see HIM! But I couldn't see the wind either. That doesn't mean it's not real! I can see the wind move through the trees and I can feel it on my skin. I can see God move through my children. I can see God bring hope to the hopeless and help to the helpless. I can feel God and I can hear Him in my heart. He may not do things in the way that we would always like them to be done, or as quickly as we would like either...but in HIS own time and in HIS own way...He will make miracles happen. I can't look into the eyes of my daughters and believe that there is no soul behind their baby blues. A BABY IS A MIRACLE! OUR LIVES ALONE ARE MIRACLES! It would be very sad to think that we have no purpose and no reason for having been born, and that when we die...we don't go on. I can't believe that when my world is falling apart and then suddenly there's a solution...that GOD had no hand in it! I refuse to believe that God did not play a role in protecting my sweet Mollie from harm during my pregnancy because according to all medical standards...she should have been born at 20 weeks and she shouldn't have been able to breath. I see Him move through Maggie every day from the time she wakes up, until she falls asleep! He lives in my children! He is a comforting, caring, gentle and loving Father, and nothing bad comes from Him. Fear, pain and sorrow are not of God...but He will comfort you during these times. If I can be an example to just one person in my life...then I've done my best and what is right. So, if you haven't known just how special, wanted, planned and loved that you were since before time began...know now that God loves you. He will never leave you, but he will remain waiting patiently and quietly until you seek Him with all of your heart.
