About this user

Formerly known as Cripeen Wire, then later Sutenkem... SVNL is a Nu-Metal/Rap/Reggae/Tribal Band from Kenya! It all started as a joke in 1997 with a "Hey! Rock's Kool...we should jam!", then later became a reality with our their first perfomance in Nairobi Pentecostal Church (Though our fans cheered ever so wildly, the pastors and parents were not so amused. Our mother was the ONLY ONE who was up and down jumping like a teenager!) We love you Mum for being ever supportive!

From then on, a string of perfomances started coming along. In 2001, things got better when Kwame 'THE NETJER' Bonsu (Former Class Suicide Drummer) met with a guitarist and lead vokalist from ZitoZuri in his naighbourhood named Chriss! Chriss was ever so kind and itroduced us to the krew from B.K.S.P (BinKhalidSonicPollution)....mind you we still have no idea what the name means...Anyway, Harvey, Adam, Talal, and the rest welcomed us into their world and thats when SVNL (then Creepin Wire), got a chance to rokk it out with other bands such as ZitoZuri, Lynx, Bloodshed, Neverone, Class Suicide, e.t.c., and the band was officialy formed! THUS THE BIRTH OF NU-METAL IN KENYA!

Not all things went smoothly, though! A break in their perfomances with B.K.S.P. caused alot of rekonstructions within the band, thus the long silence! But we are happy to inform you that SVNL is koming back, and will be here to stay!

Word is, SVNL has hooked up with Nubinity Records and they are kurrently working on their debut album, which features about 11 nu-metal/rap/reggae and tribal influenced trakks that will rock your brains out! SVNL is fired up about the whole projekt, and say the album is inspired by TRUTH, their life experiences and everything that needs changing in this messed up beautiful world. They kan't wait to share their secrets, love, music and MASSIVE NOISE with ya'll.
Their first single, 'Raven', is soon to be on air!
