ART, classicism, dancing, (hip-hop and ballet) traveling, spending time with family and friends. I love poetry. My favorite poets are Chistina Rossetti, Emily Bronte, Mary Oliver, William Butler Keats, Elizabeth Bishop, Margaret Atwood, and Elizabeth Barret Browning. I used to write dark, moody poetry when I was younger, but ever since I was blessed with my husband Ive been writing nothing but love poems. TURN OFFS...Guys who wear flip flops (it's not masculine..unless you're from Africa or the middle east, fellas, don't wear them.) Guys who don't work out...guys who don't know how to dress, guys who are ill-mannered..."Harry Potter", the "Twilight" flicks.. Lady Gaga..."Jersey Shore"...I REALLY hate that show..it makes us young italians all look like idiots and whores.."Reality celebrities" or as I prefer calling them, "bootleg celebrities".. They have NO talent whatsoever and only serve to take away attention from TRUE artisans. Their popularity says more about the complete LACK OF TASTE of my generation than it speaks of any ability these people have. TURN ONS..Masculinity,Confidence,SWAGGER..A man who takes care of himself..he works out, he dresses well, he smells good, he's well groomed. He's a gentleman and he's cultured..he pulls out a chair for a lady, he can order the right wine, he's well traveled. He's intelligent..he should be up on current events, be well read. He should excude strength,and make his woman feel safe when she's with him. MY husband has ALL of these qualities! FAVORITE FASHION DESIGNERS...The Italians...we RULE in this arena! Armani, Gucci, Versace, Ferre, Prada, Vaentino, Venturi...need I go on?! Italians are synonymous with great fashion. FAVORITE COLOGNE (MEN) Issey Miyake, Fahrenheit, Aqua de gio, Curve..all great scents. FAVORITE PERFUME...one name...CHANNEL NO.5! It drives my husband WILD!
Movies:
The classics, which would be ANYTHING with Marilyn Monroe, Citizen Kane, Casablanca, 1940's film noir, Metropolis, A Patch of Blue, and silent films, especially ones with Delores del rio, Fay Wray, and Rudolph Valentino..so, so many others.
Music:
I really enjoy the music of Lenny Kravitz, Bryan Ferry, The Afters..Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant.. I love jazz, r&b.. Im a Huge fan of '80's music...I love Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, The Motels, The Fixx, The Police, The Cars..especially The Cars! The eighties are my favorite musical decade.They had much better artists then than we have now.
