That is a cool idea, Your quite innovative, thats why I like watching your videos on your Do It Yourself projects, such as enhancing you IR and so forth. I like how you dont mind sharing, you are good people and that is hard to come by now a days. I told a researcher I watch in Canada aka Timbergiantbigfoot about your IR enhancement. He watch your video and thought it was fantastic. Keep up the great work.

I do use Google earth to spot trails that are not on any forest service maps (animal trails). We figure we can use my HD mini cam on a baloon teather to tet the footage. I believe we can compensate for the altitude. and we can use it in a treed area as long as the wind is mild.

Sorry to hear about your technical problems with your plane, have you thought about using google earth or some other satelite surveilance?

I thought I answered. It was David, he is better at it. However, the altitude proved to be a problem. Our aircraft had proplems generating the required lift at 7000 feet to be able to fly more than 3 or four feet off the ground.

I had not thought about it until I saw your comment on weather, the southwest gets pounded during la nina and less during el nino. Its la nina this year.
