Stand Up To Cancer is a new initiative supporting groundbreaking cancer research with the potential to get promising new treatments to patients as quickly as possible. SU2C, a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, builds and funds interdisciplinary "Dream Teams" of scientists, clinicians, technicians and other experts. In 2008, the three major networks -- ABC, CBS, and NBC -- banded together with SU2C to create a star-studded roadblock television event that raised over $100 million for translational cancer research. We recently announced our first five Dream Teams; you can learn more about them here!

My Grandma has cancer and she has been doing very well lately. Cancer can be very frustrating, and it is very painful to have cancer, and it is also very painful to see loved ones going through the pain. However we can all stand up to cancer and make an enormous difference.
