Stand Up To Cancer is a new initiative supporting groundbreaking cancer research with the potential to get promising new treatments to patients as quickly as possible. SU2C, a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, builds and funds interdisciplinary "Dream Teams" of scientists, clinicians, technicians and other experts. In 2008, the three major networks -- ABC, CBS, and NBC -- banded together with SU2C to create a star-studded roadblock television event that raised over $100 million for translational cancer research.
