Actually the interlude riff sounds like Mark Knopfler. It will mark my ignorance if that is a known fact.

Movie was "Class Action", ending scene.
Both HM&BN and Simply Red versions are great, each in their own right.
Simply Red's version showed respect for the first version and the composer's intent. It works for that reason.

How many were moved to a love of this composer simply by hearing this one simple piece, in this movie (not entirely factual for biographics). Better to take license and put a man's achievements in context for we common folk, than to be correct and have no common appeal.
This movie will stand as a...

Tanya started so young and was given the time to get through the affectations and posturing, posing and voice trickery stage. She was forged by a "learn the hard way" teenhood and manage to learn to do only the things that suited her tastes and style. Try to find a piece of her music that sucks. ...

Listen to a lyric that isn't "looped" to death. A piece of music that lasts longer than two minutes and is sung in a sincerely heartfelt manner by someone that feels what is written for her. She never sold out to cheap theatrical affectations or schlock music. Tanya, you're a treasure.

This is without a doubt her best piece of music.
Sorry, not a Reba MUSIC fan (this one was obviously before she started that affectation of modulating her voice on every note. Trey annoying!
I love her TV show, though and she's a wonderful person.

There is a video to this that is perfect to a tee, but I haven't seen it but once since one day in Des Moines when it caught my eye and introduced me to Skip Ewing.
Anybody find this video, please post it.
@1950sparks; Boy, do you frequent some great pubs.
It's sung in a way that allows me to enjoy Irish Music. It may not be perfect, but it sure sounds good to me.
Oh . . the disclaimer: I'm an old Danish guy!
