I've always felt Motown was at it's peak with the 4 Tops, especially the amazing voice and range of Levi Stubbs. This was music for young America, grouped in by some with "rock and roll", yet just look at these guys and listen - pure talent and class all the way! Thanks for posting!

One of the greatest, sexiest love songs of all time, period. As great as the original recording is, the movie version, with the amazing sax-break and background vocals, is the best! Thanks for posting, thanks for the great memories!

One of the great talents from back then who could have an entire orchestra backing her up, without ever being drowned out, even a little. On the "not over singing" comment, rob57uk, spot on - she displayed the confidence of knowing she only had to "sing" to make it perfect. Amazing singer with o...

REAL talent like Melissa and Laura Branigan could never make it today, considering the age group buying most of the music. No slut-wear, no obvious sexual displays, more (classy) clothes than skin showing, less than a pound of makeup, no fireworks, no video references to ugly, badly modified expe...

What a great, soulful sound, a classic that's been covered too many times to count. It shows how sax should be done, not to mention the great reverb guitar. Shame it's not in iTunes, would LOVE to have this in my collection. MANY THANKS for posting!!!

Great song, great performer. Rivers had a great sound, no question. Man, empty stage, no background/dancers, no chair, props or even a mic to hold ...tough gig! But he made it look easy, 'cause like so many performers back then, he had IT ...real talent! Thanks for posting!
