School of Americas Watch West

The US Army School of the Americas, nicknamed the "School of Assassins," was renamed the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHINSEC) in 2001. Graduates of the SOA have been implicated in numerous cases of human rights violations throughout Latin America.including murder, kidnapping, torture and rape.
