Rich performed at my church in Las Vegas, when this song was brand new.
I recall the teenagers that kept yelling out for him to play AWESOME GOD...
he said that if he played it NOW...then everyone would get up and leave!!
We all had a good laugh and he performed the song at the end of the concert!
