About SMitchellCA
Sunny Staton Mitchell is a freelance choreographer and instructor. Her career has included many principal and solo roles with the Sacramento Ballet and numerous productions with Sacramento Music Circus. Ms. Mitchell holds a BFA in choreography from UC Irvine and an MA in Education from CSUS. Her directorial debut, The Rocky Horror Show, also her thesis project, was presented over New Year's 2011. Sunny is a proud member of Actor's Equity. Other titles include Assistant Choreographer for Sacramento Music Circus, and a number of titles in education with the Sacramento Ballet, including the creation and implementation of their Dance Education program. Ms. Mitchell's company, E:motion Dance Ensemble was established in 2006, and is the only company in the Sacramento region to present full length concert dance works as well as full-length musicals.
