Comments defending these sort of experiments are both weak and self serving. There is no genuine science here, no actual benefit for mankind. @Maupable I agree. Rather than condemn him realize that he is suffering from an overactive mind and an ego that MUST be heard. He has made the all too common mistake of cherishing his opinions at the cost of any genuine compassion or compromise.

Wow looks like a fun river, little bit of rapids, generally fast current and some nice scenery. Maybe I'll do it myself some time.

This is such a fascinating and tragic page out of NJ history. Many of your pictures capture the haunting beauty within the degradation and decay of such a place and I extend kudos for your work here.
