A dancer since the age of three, I started Bollywood dancing when a colleague in India "bet" me that I would not dare create and perform a dance in India during Diwali.
Never one to shy away from a challenge, I created a piece in two weeks, by watching countless movies and trying to copy the moves of Aishwarya and Madhuri.
I performed the dance in India and needless to say, won the bet! More than that...a new dance form was added to my already rather large dance addiction!
I dance salsa and bollywood frequently and love performing. There is nothing better than seeing the audience enjoy the show.
