Patrick Leonard is a songwriter, record producer, film composer and keyboardist. In twenty-plus years hes sold over a hundred million records, written and/or produced fifteen top five singles, had numerous Grammy nominations, and done his own projects; Toy Matinee, Third Matinee, Rivers and Udistam.
Patrick was co-musical director for the "Jackson Victory Tour".
In 1984 Madonna needed a Musical Director for her first tour. She sought out Patrick having seen the Victory tour. The two met and the chemistry was good so he took the job.
Patrick and Madonna performed their first co-write "Love Makes The World Go Round at Live Aid in July 1985. That lead to them writing "Live To Tell" and Patrick scoring the movie "At Close Range". That lead to "True Blue" with some twelve million in record sales and four top five singles. In the years that followed Patricks music took him to a diversity of places.
Patrick is currently working on three original musicals, a solo piano record and European tour as well as writing songs and continuing to make records with a variety of artists. Hes also become more active in film composing as well as putting his energies into education and performing.
