SILENT HILL is the first video game I bought on Playstation and I like the ambience. - The fog, Lamp-lit. (It informed the way but it attracts the monsters) The player progresses in a constantly agonizing and oppressive darkness that does not allow him to understand what will happen. - The radio (Which indicates the presence of monsters) crackle will become more important as a creature approached. - The siren and the shift in alternate SILENT HILL. The music greatly contributes to the feeling of vulnerability and hence ambient fear, pure and simple. The gameplay includes frequent horror elements, action, various puzzles, detailed and disturbing environments, chilling background music provided by composer Akira Yamaoka, and a complex storyline revealed through numerous cinematic cut scenes and in-game documents and notes. Each game unfolds like a movie with several possible endings; the player's choices during the game determine which ending is shown. So we can say that Silent Hill invented the psychological survival-horror in video game.
