If you can stay quiet while a child is being abused, it will be a piece of cake to cover up other forms of corruption in business, government, or even you're own family. Victims have been suffering from a climate of denial and we're not taking it anymore!
February 24, 2012 will be declared the International Day for Survivors of Institutional Abuse by Mayor Bob Foster of Long Beach, CA. Survivors of institutional abuse will be holding a convention on the Queen Mary from February 24-26, 2012.
If you have been abused, or know someone who has, only to have that abuse covered up by a greedy and fearful institution, would you stand with us? Stand United With One Voice!

more
SIA Organization is a non profit group bringing together survivors from abusive teen residential centers from across the country to a convention in Long Beach, CA. It will be held on February 24, 2012. To raise money for this convention, Teresa gave a challenge that if $500 was raised she would tar and feather herself and walk like a chicken in front of Chic-Fil-A. The amount was raised and now Teresa fulfills her part of the agreement.
For more information about the convention, and to donate money to this worthwhile organization, please visit the following links:
