About this user

'Shana S', hails from the beautiful parish of Portland, Jamaica. As the eldest child for both her parents, she was born a leader. She always had an interest in music and began d-jaying when she was 12 years old, during break periods in high school. Despite her early start, Shana S didn't become serious about her music until she was 17 years old. However, struggles to find a manager and to generate interest in her talent would force her to put off her dreams of a music career for a few years. Shana migrated to the US where she later met 'Wayne Walker' who saw her potential as a singer and encouraged her to start writing and taking music lessons.
at the moment Shana S, is working with up coming producer 'Fedda Weight', who has released several tracks with her.
She has also worked with 'Rickey Myrie' (producer from New York City ) who produced her first single "naah back dung" on the 'top speed riddim' and a few other tracks. Since then 'Shana S' has worked with Danger Zone Entertainment as well as a number of other producers. She is a testament to young women who have a passion for music. She is a 'go getter' and is ready to show the world what she has to offer through reggae music. She writes music that speaks to the true Jamaican experience and the struggles of being a female artist in a man's world. with her writing skills and a voice like no other, 'Shana S' is a name you will be seeing a lot!
