The original SEN One's channel. Hip Hop culture, Graffiti my life and my role in the history of this great culture. SEN One's work in the fine arts and his role on the Rachel Rachel Roy Fashion line. His sneaker deal with HIP HOP USA and his many art projects... George is the first person to use the name SEN ONE.. ONE meaning that I'm the first one, the original..
About Me:
George has been a Graffiti artist since the early 1980's, the golden era of Hip-Hop culture. He first started writing graffiti in his neighborhood in 1980, and in 1981 along with "POKE" they cut his name "SENDER" in half and the name "SEN" was born. George aka "SEN ONE" started painting subway trains in 1982 on Manhattan's number one line. That same year he joined "Incredible Bombing Masters" (IBM). "Incredible Bombing Masters", as a crew were pioneers of their own style of Graffiti. The crew first started bombing (writing) on subway trains and school yard handball courts. "Incredible Bombing Masters" was a legendary crew that was created by Graffiti legend "Doze Green", and legendary B-Boy "Ken-Swift" at the time members of the famous "Rock Steady Crew". In 1982, the crew that "Doze" and "Ken-Swift" created was passed down to Dino aka "Poke" a close mentor of George and a mutual friend of both. "SEN One" along with "Epic" both joined "Poke" and became some of the first members of the crew under "POKE". "IBM" is one of the most revered Graffiti crews in Hip Hop History.
During this time George "SEN One" was also attending Joan of Arc JHS and that's where it all began. The New York City school system was failing and falling apart, and this gave students the opportunity to do what they wanted. Students began to teach and learn from each other rather than their teachers. This young group of kids from the Upper West Side learned designs, styles, and letter techniques that where being passed down from older Graffiti masters before them. As a main member of "IBM", George was bless to come across many talented and skilled young urban artists. Around this time Hip Hop was in it's golden-era, and the world was getting it's first taste of this fresh new sub-culture and "Africa Bambaataa" (Zulu Nation) dropped the classic "Planet Rock", in which a young "SEN One" can be seen in the video for that iconic song.
1984 when George was 15 years old he was commissioned to do a live art show and canvas for the late, great photographer Richard Avedon (RIP). A few years later, New York City began to change, and street artists and their art would be outlawed and the old canvases (subway trains) gave way to less rebellious ones (fabric).
In the 1990's George was involved the New York City music scene and he was a prominent part of a Rap/R&B group on Sony label called "Menageri" whose music producer Kevin aka "Stash" was also an IBM member. After the group tragically fell apart George began working in an after school program in the Bronx teaching art to children ages 9 to 15, while at the same time a leading member of the Black Panther Collective here in New York. George was instrumental in creating the original anti-brutality Police patrols in Manhattan that are now called "Cop Watch" in Brooklyn by MXG organization.
George "SEN One" is currently teaching Graffiti art classes on the Upper West Side with the Goddard River Side Beacon Program while creating original artwork designs for many different clients, he creates everything from personalized miniature graffiti Subway cars replicas, all sizes Graffiti laced fine art canvases, cloths, foot wear, and currently his artwork is being featured on the Rachel Rachel Roy's clothing line in MACYS. .
2012 look out for SEN One's work being featured on the New York KNICKS Amar'e Stoudemire and Rachel Roy's line which features designs and logos by SEN, and on the "SUBWAY SERIES" sneaker line by HIP HOP USA, and on the ATM clothing line thats dropping sometime that year .
So welcome to my world... Enjoy..

LOL, check out the dancing spray-paint cans. Chances are you've seen it, but anyhow...
Graffiti culture will never die! <3
and the rest of your channel too! I will certainly mourn the loss of yours, and
everyone else's backgrounds on Mar. 7th. Amazing art-work here. You've been blessed
with a wonderful talent.
Peace and blessings, from a new subscriber, -Cosmia<3<3
