Sean McGee is more than just a stage name for this R&B singer & songwriter. It is his government name that is often imitated, but never duplicated. A native of Sandusky, Ohio he was born on 2/18/89. He grew up singing with his church choir in a city predominately known for tourism & the world renowned amusement park Cedar Point.

It began at the age of 8 with his very close relationship to his grandmother Georgia May Robinson. She inspired him with the sounds of The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, & Al Green. The soulful tunes helped shape & inspire his musical talent. His first group was formed a year later with friends called BDS. They created multiple songs for several years, but later split up due to lack of fame & creative differences. With disappointment came heartache when his grandmother passed away shortly thereafter. She was a major influence in his life who nurtured the soul in his harmony. Lifes unfortunate trials and tribulations did not stop there. Things only got worse when his parents got divorced. Poor decision making led to conflict in his fathers home which got him kicked out. Even his mother did not accept him for dropping out of high school. He was forced to grow up and become a man on his own. Music was the only outlet he had to express his emotions.

Tragedy inspired him to write his hit song My Story which has touched millions across the world. Fans can relate to the pain and suffering outlined in the lyrics. Over 16 million plays on MySpace.com made this independent unsigned artist an overnight sensation. Sean McGee is a creative, stylish, and captivating artist with numbers that stand true. Life's obstacles never interfered with his love to create music. It only made him who he is today. His highly anticipated CD "My Story" is set to be released later this year.
