When young people imagine their futures, they dream big: pop star, astronaut, movie actor, Prim Minister.

At SAIT, we believe with the right environment and exposure to a full range of possibilities, young people could also imagine themselves in such exciting careers as architectural technologist, film maker, petroleum engineering technologist, business owner or iron chef.

Engaging youth with career opportunities they simply didnt know existed is critical to fuelling Albertas economy. So is meeting industrys long-term need for skilled, enthusiastic, hit-the-ground-running workers.

THE CHALLENGE

Despite a severe shortage of skilled employees for industry, over the past several years, SAIT has turned away an average of 4,000 distinct qualified applicants each fall.

THE SOLUTION

The Trades and Technology Complex, a $445-million world-class training environment funded by government, industry, SAIT family and individual donors.
