They promised us we'd GET BACK TO WORK. Where's the work? Even fewer jobs came through on the Breakdown than before this contract was forced through by these people. Write down the names of the people here who destroyed your futures. For them to get a quick 3 percent standard increase Pay Raise, they forced through a contract on an UNKNOWING MEMBERSHIP who only received "VOTE YES FOR YOUR FUTURE" postcards in droves from the Guild. The six figure PR firm they hired WITH OUR UNION DUES to "SELL" this contract to us worked--but now, WHERE IS THE WORK?

The second they got this contract forced through on the backs of an uninformed Membership (who received countless postcards only saying ONE SIDE OF THE ENTIRE SITUATION)-- NOW the Board members who supported this travesty want to EDUCATE the MEMBERSHIP ABOUT THE CONTRACT!!! After using the Unions' website for weeks filled with misleading videos, NOW they want to EDUCATE them! THIS IS AMAZING. Get it forced through quick, THEN tell them what they lost? You sure you want them to know?

In a SAG Board meeting tonight, David White "informed" the room that he pretty much has no plan of action for the future, and is doing nothing to achieve for the members what forcing this contract through was "supposed to" gain. And he took about 800 words to say nothing, as well, leaving the entire room baffled as to what his response actually was. So that's where we're at now folks-YEAH! a 3 percent (standard gain) increase for the loss of the control of your image & likeness in perpetuity! Yeah!

I hope this contract is voted down down DOWN the way it deserves to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a member of the public who will gladly support actors like Ed Asner, Martin Sheen, Ed Harris, Rob Schneider, Nichelle Nichols, Scott Wilson, Matt Mulhern, Justine Batemen & the numerous others who continue to fight to see actors paid fairly, not actors who would leverage the success & fame they need the public to give them to empower them to rob their fellow actors while they personally profit. I will also give priority to purchasing goods & services from companies that sponsor actors who can see the importance of supporting their union & urge a No Vote.Unless & until the actors urging a Yes vote recant & apologize to their fellow actors, I won't extend the same support to their work. SAG members, help the public help you, Vote NO on TV Theatrical.

Vote no. We are losing so much and we'll never get back what we give up. Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free.

We won't have any additional leverage in 2 years either, we will have LESS. Because the Producers, including Tom Hanks, will KNOW that we are planning on striking for VITALLY NECESSARY stipulations in these contracts. They will have stockpiled TONS of material to be ready for us, and WON'T BAT AN EYELASH when we try to stike. They don't have anything stockpiled now. They want a a strike even less than we do. If we give away these things now WE NEVER GET THEM BACK. There is no Tomorrow for us. This will be the end of this profession for EVERYONE BELOW STAR LEVEL. And Tom Hanks knows that, but he doesn't want you and your pathetic Needs getting in the way of his next multi-million dollar movie. Vote NO. Your vote counts just as much as this scum Tom Hanks.

SHAME ON YOU Tom Hanks (who is a PRODUCER, who was quoted as saying "I don't give a shit whether there are paper cups or plastic cups on set, just get it signed"). IT'S NOT OKAY TO DESTROY THE LIVES OF OUR ELDERLY MEMBERS PERMANENTLY. Once you give something away YOU NEVER GET IT BACK. That means that for a quick pay raise RIGHT NOW we will have PERMANENTLY thrown away our Eldest Members LIKE TRASH (pre 1971 &74 residuals are eliminated PERMANENTLY). That is NOT okay.
