The tutor was definitely very nice but it's hard to follow the compositing with the limited screen view. It would be nice to see the entire node view or even better if this sample portal effect had a blend file available to download. Is that possible at all?

Hmmm I'm trying this in 2.55 and stuck at the scripted expression. My guess is the script expression changes in 2.55 and was trying it this way instead of keying it. Do you have any idea what the equivalent expression to b.Get("curframe") is in 2.55?
