On this webisode for www.Rootstelevision.com, I went to see Ketch Harbour, Peter Martin's 1766 land grant, the birthplace of my Great Grandmother and her sister my Aunt Adelle and my Martin cousins for the first time. I need to upgrade my editing program as it keeps crashing so a week of export hell and this was first time attempting voice over, music, audio soundtrack mix and is not good but I got both issues resolved for next three webisodes which will be up over next three weeks. Thanks for watching.

Danny Martin and his band Salsa Picante playing a song he wrote about growing up in Ketch Harbour and Halifax Nova Scotia that he let me use for my series By Her Roots. They were playing right where our ancestor Peter Martin and Margaret Butler's wharf was in 1700's

Video and Documentary Production
About Me: The By Her Roots Series was financed, produced, written, directed, shot, edited and hosted by me for RootsTelevision.Com who recently awarded me a small grant. I used it to upgrade my editing skills which have inproved dramatically since webisode #1. Hopefully I will have financing in place to hire a crew for Part Two in Ireland.

Most of the other videos are no budget volunteer productions (except for my old stampede video) that I shot and edited myself. None of my crews were involved.

Well, this latest Webisode #7 was your best. The editing was fantastic. Timing was just right. I can't wait to see what you do in France!
