Both models are junk. The bagged unit's filter bag will clog as it fills up.and it'll lose suction. The bagless unit's filter will also clog and require cleaning/replacing. It's a gimmick. Get a Dyson. They will never clog, never lose suction, and its filters will NEVER clog nor need replacing.

My Dyson could be full too, and it would still whoop that junk vac's ass. Hell, any Kirby, Sanitaire, Filter Queen, Fantom (not the Euro-Pro Fantoms), etc. would beat that Bissell.

That bit of dirt is sticky. Most vacs would have trouble with it. My DC33 (which has the same exact cleaner head of the DC07) cleans very well.

Dysons are awesome machines. They're built very well, very powerful, and they are top of the line. They NEVER lose any suction power. I can testify to that.

Autolock is better.

The filters do collect very small amounts of dust during use. If not cleaned out once every 3 months, the filters will become dirty enough to restrict airflow. It's not really false advertising. Under normal use, with proper maintenance, the vacuum shouldn't lose any suction.

Lexan is also used in some high-end vacuum cleaners.

The front and rear brushes are for bare floors. You press a button to retract them when it's used on carpet.

I don't understand why you would want less power for deep pile carpets.

To me, DC17 is way better. $0 for maintenance (just wash the filter under cold water. The Miele in 5 years will approximately cost $300 or more to replace the HEPA filter and bags. Dyson wins in that category.
