About this user

Since 1974, Rys occupation has been performing music, always writing songs with lyrics along the way. 1972 through 1978 were spent in a band called Wooden Planet. They performed in 27 states and relocated to Phoenix, AZ and then to Los Angeles, CA. Rys most thrilling show with The Planet was a headliner at the famed Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA. The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, and a lot of great musicians had gotten their start there.

Eventually leaving the band in 1978, Ry played a lot of colleges, clubs, parties, and other venues around the suburbs of Chicago. After getting married and having two kids, playing evolved into live shows for both children and senior groups.

Using his guitar, harmonica, piano, mandolin, banjo, and tambourine, Ry makes quite a variety show. Please check Show Info and Songs for more information
