I am the first son of a Russian White Emigre. I love history, especially of my old country. I was born as a Orthodox Christian and abided by the Religion until I was 15. Then I was reading about the great schisim one day in a book, and was very interested in it. I read a few books on the matter, and it turns out that I kept on siding with the Latins. Eventually I got confirmed into the Roman Catholic Church. My parents helped me through this, but to my supprise a year and a half later they converted as well. That is my story, also I thought that the Orthodox Church was more about tradition than love which is what god taught us.
