Running From Reality is a Bruneian Alternative Garage-band that formed up in Sg. Tilong, Brunei in 2009 ( 2008, but not official ).

About Me:
Aryf (vocalist/guitarist) & Ilah (drummer) was never the centre of attention in school. They made a band consisting only the 2 of them which was named 'Drop-D' or 'Drop Dead'. They both wrote a song, which was cool but never heard by others from the internet. Soon enough, they were well-known among their friends at school.
They met Amir (guitarist) in Primary 4 & Malek (bassist) in Secondary 1. The two of them had their own side-project called ' Band-Age '. After Aryf & Ilah discovered the two of them, they've decided to make Amir & Malek a part of their band. Soon enough, 'Drop-D' & 'Band-Age' combined as one band.
Months later, Ilah came up with a new name for the band. It was called 'Curse The Enemy', but the other members disagree to use that name. Weeks later, Amir came up with two names & Ilah thought of a name too. Amir let them choose either 'Back From Fantasy' or 'Reality Or Imaginary' and Ilah wrote down 'Running From Reality'.
Aryf, who was the band leader, had a hard time to choose those names. So, Ilah took 3 strips of paper and wrote each name on it. Aryf quickly picked 'Running From Reality' and they all agreed to use that name.
