Ya i first got into games when i was four and picked up command and conquer tiberian sun. Ya the older command and conquer games are better C&C 3 is acctuly good but C&C 4....... is a compleat fail to the series.

I've heard of Xenonauts. It's just hard for me to find a copy of it. I've got a lot of games on the list for LPing, but I might take a look at it later.

I am not the biggest strategy fan,but it is one of my favorite genres,I usually like rts',but xcom and ufo are easily the best strategy games I have played.xenonauts look's interesting if you have not already heard of it.
