I am 12 i am in the 7th grade i am like Luke Benwards Biggest fan.But most of all I am the Rubys Biggest Fan Ever they are on tour with the ishine. iShine LIVE is a FREE high-energy, 2 1/2 hour event that is not only biblically-based but is geared just for tweens! The I stands for Identity, because iShine LIVE is all about teaching kids to find their Identity in Christ, as a child of God.

Mainstream entertainment media outlets and the marketing industry are encouraging todays tweens to grow up quickly. Research reveals that children 11 and older don't consider themselves children anymore. Kids spend increasing amounts of time consuming media whether its TV viewing, online time or listening to music. And those messages are getting through because they are packaged in relevant an appealing ways. Research shows that children who watch lots of TV want more toys, eat more advertised food and children as young as 3 can identify brands by site. By treating pre-adolescents as independent, mature consumers, marketers have been very successful in removing the gatekeepers (parents) from the picture—leaving tweens vulnerable to potentially unhealthy messages about body image, sexuality, relationships, violence and the role of faith in their lives. That is what IShine is. The Rubyz are like my RoleModel they are amazing. There bible virse that says it all is this "A worthy woman who can find?
