Call me a dreamer perhaps because my eyes have always seen stars and blinding lights on an empty stage. The deafen sound of applause from since I was the age of three. From that old brown wooden rectangular shaped box with plastic silver buttons knobs blaring the sounds of guitars, banjos and depressing lyrics that made me want to dial 911 (Spring by Tanya Tucker) bellowing from the tiny speakers would changed my life forever. I knew from the age of two that I wanted to be inside of that box while someone glued their ears to the velvet feel of those speakers, I loved words they made me dance, sing, weep, hide under my covers, want to change the world and most of all want to share those same emotions with others.
