About Me:
I belong to a very unusual family. I possess a Certificate of Authentification of a Bloodline - duly dated by appropriate authorities and professionals in the field - September 2002. My family's lines were suspected since 1921 and had been lost in the oblivion of history until they were finally confirmed in 1998 as belonging to noble and royal bloodlines. Two books have been published about my family roots in 1998 and 2001 (one by five university professors from Canada and the USA).
We also have genetic proof that we are of noble and royal descent via DNA testing which was done in 2007. We have participated in a DNA project where it was discovered that alleles on both sides of a gene sector where identical - in an area where a gene carried by royal families has been identified - which is extremely rare in genetics and no one is mentally 'deficient' in my family - quite the contrary. Our bloodlines have produced highly-intelligent people - many well above average - some world-class scientists, physicists, mathematicians, music virtuosos, medical doctors, and more. . . Thus far, I have been quite blessed. I am the mother of two highly intelligent young adults - a daughter and a son.
Hence, if you doubt this side you would be a fool to ridicule me for my background I most assure you. There are ill-mannered people in this world who have wantonly attacked me for this and even threatened me before - this is why I have added this part on my profile. I am the REAL THING do not fool yourself about this and yes, we do have armorial bearings (described in layman terms): the head of a leopard 'lioné' (according to some historians this possibly originates from an Imperial symbol) with three rings in its mouth the background is red with the leopard head and the rings in gold. [The leopard is seen here in the profile photo on a blue silk taffeta fabric from one of my ball gowns.] Among our genealogy charts are many other armorials including, but not limited to, the bi-cephalic eagle.
My family belongs to the descending bloodlines of many noble and royal lineages - i.e., the Riurikid lines of the Kievan-Rus Grand Princes of Novgorod and Kiev (via Anne de Kiev, also known as Anna Yaroslavna - wife of King Henri I of France direct descendant of St-Vladimir and St-Olga of Ukraine) - 18 times. [The first line of the Tzars before the Romanov]. Indeed, I am related to practically all the royal lines of Europe (yes, even the Queen of England and Prince Albert of Monaco are distant cousins - many times). Add to this: three (3) bloodlines go as far back as princesses and Pharaohs of Egypt via portals going into the Monomakh lines; six (6) times descendant of the Emperors of Byzantium (at Nicea) via the princely lines of the Lascaris de Ventimille (Laskaris di Ventimiglia). By three of his legitimate sons, I am 284 times descendant of the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne (Karl der Grosse to the German). I count among my direct ancestors lines from other Emperors, Kings, Grand Princes, Princes , Dukes and other nobles of: The Holy Roman Empire; The Byzantine Empire; Judea and Israel; Italy; France (all its old Kingdoms and Duchies); Belgium; The Netherlands; Denmark; Luxembourg; Bavaria; Romania; Austria; Hungary; Bulgaria; Czechoslovakia; Poland; Ukraine; Prussia; Lithuania; Scotland; England; Ireland; Greece; Monaco; Portugal; Sweden; Finland; Norway; and, more. . . I also have Swiss blood as well - count among these, some of the first Swiss guards under the French King almost 500 years ago.
In addition, aside from the saints already mentioned herein, so far, 237 saints, beatified, martyrs have been traced (no joke) either among our direct ancestors or relatives close to our genealogy bloodlines (aunts, uncles, cousins many generations ago). These were canonized and/or are venerated by the following religions: Protestant; Roman Catholic and Roman Catholic of the Byzantine rite; Orthodox (Greek, Russian and Ukrainian).
Hence, you would be quite correct in assuming that I enjoy history and genealogy as it leads me onto the path of discovering further into my own roots. I have undertaken the writing of a book of my own.

Among my hobbies and interests in leisure times are: family; outings with friends; discovering new things people and places; genealogy; history; travel; treasure hunting; renovating; museums and historical places; swimming; cycling; golf; walking; nature walks; collecting; antiques; flea markets; reading; writing; Relaxing; cooking; fine dining; art and culture; music; decorating; sketching / drawing and painting (oils, gold foil and tempura); gardening; camping; fishing; singing; dancing; bookstores; singing (I have good range mezzo-soprano to soprano voice). When I UTube, I dabble in finding out about things happening on this beautiful blue planet in all sorts of domains and informing myself on the good, the bad as well as the ugly sides of human nature in this dehumanized technological world and what is going on in world politics as well.Things I enjoy - I like food (yet I am not fat) - yes real food - all kinds of flavours, ethnic foods - vegetarian and seafood the best; however, I will not eat anything that is still alive or crawling. I watch my weight without turning it into a 'religion.' I am a strong believer in the benefits of Triple Omega 3 Seal Oil and healthy - but not fanatic - good eating. I take care of myself basically

Old movie classics; modern classics; History Channel; documentaries; French movie classics; good comedies; good dramas; movies with favourite actors playing lead roles. I particularly liked: Schindler's List; Farinelli; The Passion of Christ; Sissi, Impératrice dAutriche (with R. Schneider) among many others which do not come to mind immediately. I watch world and local news. Oft, I listen to political issue-related shows.
Music:
Music is one of my passions - at the top of the list is classical music especially, from the Baroque period; medieval choir music; operas; chamber music; arrangements for piano, violin and/or trumpet; and, from the works of many composers including some in our more modern times. I count among my very close friends and relatives, two world-class singers who are well known around the globe.
