This could be about a love/hate relationship a man and woman have. It seems to convey one has the control and the other is weak. The more dominant person seems to be offering some advice to the weaker person. I believe the female (umibilical noose) is in control here.

She reminds of a girl in a communion (white) dress especially being in the church and the flower headpiece. She does look kind of angelic or etheral, so pretty.

You have to admit, like Hole or not, this is a great song. It describes sex, in a dark and sinister way, like no other. It's rarely just sex even if it is just a f--- buddy or hooker.

This song captures extremely well the strong desire that so many people have for fame. It is a desire to be loved and adored no matter what the consequences. No one better then Michael could school one on the consequences of fame.

Some have an innate talent, that which cannot be taught to them. They teach themselves and share with the world. Many other great artists taught themselves.

We all know the famine was much more than just no potatoes to eat. Starving is a horrible way to die. The British exported what food they had from Ireland for thmselves. British soldiers patrolled to supress the people.
