Rouge Valley

On May 22, 2013, Rouge Valley Health System (RVHS) held a Town Hall meeting to update staff, physicians and volunteers on recent developments around creating a Scarborough cluster health services delivery model. This discussion stemmed from the March 27th Central East Local Health Integration Network (CE LHIN) Board of Directors meeting, at which the Board approved three motions relating to the future of health care delivery in Scarborough. Motion 3 directs The Scarborough Hospital (TSH) to immediately partner with Rouge Valley Health System in a facilitated integration planning process to design and implement a Scarborough cluster hospital services delivery model. RVHS and TSH are expected to submit a directional plan within 60 days to the CE LHIN Board and a proposed integration plan four months later.
