I'm an ordinary African-American living continuously in France since 2003. I first visited Europe in 1991 and have been visiting on and off ever since. Just thought I'd bring to America's attention some of the more remarkable aspects of life in France. It's amazing what we don't know about this country which superficially, appears to be so similar to our own.
