i have this big question about the movie

o.k so when the old lady with the blonde daughter saves the phantom from the carnival when she was a kid(since i guess young ballerinas like to see deformed people get whipped by demented men) they are like about the same age i guess. so when she is like old during the current time of the movie, so the phantom is pretty old too. then at the end kristen is dead and raul is super old, but the phantom still has a rose on her grave even though if hes the same age as the blonde girls mom he should have died like at least 30 years ago? does anyone notice this too

The Phantom of the Opera is the best movie and musical ever. I can relate to the phantom, accept for the fact that I am not an actor, I actually exist, and I would never murder or hurt anyone in anyway.
