RAHEL: Singer/songwriter, guitarist, sound healing and sleep facilitator, Rahel, writes from the heart using her life's experiences as the source and her spirituality as a guide. Weaving ancient Hebrew text with folk, jazz, Middle East rhythms, and further East mantras Rahel produces award-winning songs that are very moving in their energy and emotion. She weaves musical magic with beautiful and compelling melodies sung in a 'free verse' style; her strong and expressive vocals supported by her masterful guitar performance. Rahel's music will calm and relax you, rock you to the depth of your soul and raise you to a higher consciousness. JASON PAUL: Bassist, Jason Paul, studied jazz in NY where he lived for ten years soaking in the the citys' amazing array of rhythms and sounds. Influenced by the music of Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd, he is also a member of the heavy metal band, "Set in Stone"; but it is in ROOTES that he has been able to stretch his talent, engendering an interest in music from other continents, different rhythms and unusual time signatures. Today, mastering his musical talents, he is quickly becoming the most sought after bass player in New England. Jason's meandering bass groove safari takes you through traditional folk backwaters, to jazz, to blues and to strong currents of today's rock riffs.
