While not being something usually found in survival situations, I find hairspray to be the prefect "Lube" for putting the bands on the wrist rocket. It stays wet long enough to work it, but dries sticky like glue. BTW, that adaptation to the wrist rocket is brilliant in it's simplicity! Thanks...
