@9secondsflat I own an 08 busa and an 08 ZX-14. There is no dif in power at all. They are the same as countless test and races have born out. The 14 has better throttle control the busa DOES steer more confidently. I love em both.

Cool. you have a quick shifter there, sounds like. What exactly happens when you miss a shift? The trans just stays in the last gear you were in, or does it go to a false Neutral like it might when foot shifting?

@garth285 I rather doubt it makes a huge dif with modern motors but I also feel better breaking the bike in within firtst 30 miles. My busa was redlined 3x in the first 15 miles. 130 mph 3rd gear. slowly started riding it softer. Seems to be the way race bikes are broken in. Hard, high revv...
