Let's start off with a joke;Q: "Why did the chicken cross the mobius strip?"
A: "Trick question!! There is no other side!!!!"
Okay... that was bad. Trust me the rest of "me" is not as bad as my jokes.
I've enjoyed math and physics for quite a while. I won't say since birth, since I'm pretty sure EVERY person says that to single themselves out as being "different". I'm just like you... my DNA crystals emulate certain symmetries just like your own (although my DNA encoding might be just a bit more damaged than most, which is a long story, but lets be glad we don't live in a "Gattaca" type society), I have five fingers/toes on each side, and am a carbon-based life-form. Yes, every undergraduate physics student wants to study theoretical physics/mathematics to be the next Einstein, Feynman, Shroedinger, Maxwell, Brian Greene, and/or Stephen Hawkings (all mentioned in no particular order)... but I enjoy it all for what it is. I enjoy the subject to not distinguish myself, but to understand the simplicity and complexity of every physical object. With that said I have a strong dislike for those chumps who've been in my Real Analysis and Rigorous Mathematical Proofs courses quacking out random answers a trained monkey could answer in the pursuit of having the professor "recognize" them... trust me to get a professor's attention ask him a question from his research that baffles him... preferably from a paper he's published. Oh yeah, I enjoy my artwork very much, enjoy reading philosophy (everything from Western-tradition to Eastern-tradition), and enjoy learning different languages (currently on my fourth... I have and am currently learning the language of the fastest spreading religion and the most spoken language in Asia, respectively). Somewhere in all of that I'm sure I'm something more than a simple primate quacking out answers to get recognition.
