You Tube have announced an enforced new design layout for March 6 2012. Having looked at the new designed I have decided it is truly awful but there is nothing I can do about it. So I will appologise up front for You Tube's blatant crappness.

those dance hall's of romeo's disco had class and was the best of night club's all around the country

xcellent stuff. There will never be another time as good as that! I don't know what it was. Things just seemed to have more Atmosphere then in the discos and the tracks were better. Maybe I'm just an old git! Thanks for the extra info and videos. Very much appreciated!!!! The music was first used for the Opening Light Show at R&J's Doncaster for the first time on New Year's Eve 1980 to coincide with the new Dancefloor Lighting system both overhead and routed Tivoli floor lights were used. It involved all aspects of the new lighting together with stage pyrotechnics, smoke and large lens liquid oil projectors and stage set designs with a Sci-Fi theme and built-in stage lighting effects (see photo section Re Cusworths Bike Shows).

Romeo's Doncaster had a low ceiling so nothing went up or down instead we had effect lights all over the club including walkways, all around the contour of the ceiling and seating areas -- all the club and its inhabitants were part of the show. Large screen CRT TVs were located on each main pillar and used visual effects first pioneered by a company who were featured on BBC1's Tomorrows World. 2k Theatre-Class Lanterns were used from the corners of the club together with UV, multi-coloured strobes and confetti cannons.

We used other lightshow music which you can find on the channel but Alien by Nostromo was everyone's favourite -- the last light show at 10pm on Saturday April 28 1984 was seen by 1400 people (normally about 200 people were in by this time). We started with Alien and then ran through all the light show music since October 1978. Part of the dancefloor lighting design can be seen on the Regional Final of the World Disco Dance Championship 1980 video on the playlist but only a third of the system was used on this occasion. Were these tracks used as an opener with your light system show for this venue? I know they used to use the theme from the War of the worlds poppy remix in the late 80's at the Black Orchid in Nottingham (where the whole light rig used to come down to head height almost from the ceiling and go bananas. If so, have you got any video of your work??

Ive been searching this track since 1979 without any luck .. Any chance that you could mail me this in mp3 format ?? would also llike to have the b-side of this record ..
