Well, I am a 53 year old "returning" Guitarist & Song Writer. I haven't even owned a guitar in over 27 years until about a year ago when I purchased a Bernie Rico Jr. Spalted "Alias". [KILL-ER !] I found out that there is alot I've got to learn & alot I don't remember ! :oops:
It's called A-G-E ! But ? I play because I have a Passion for guitar. I always, & still will strive to sound like me. I am an odd kinda guy. I don't wanna do what everybody's doing, I just want to learn enough to add to my original type of frame work.
I've never been big on learning covers, though back in the day I did them to earn a few bucks. But ? even then, I found myself saying :"Hey" This "part" sounds neat, then I'd take what I learned in a new direction. I'm not big on theory [though I could stand to learn a little] as I play Heart To Hand & learned by ear.
Bare w/ an Old Man, I'll get back. I'm just an old Rocker who loves to Play !
