Born in Belo Horizonte, year 2008, The Rocketwist's a brand new rock'n roll band. It sounds like the old '70 punk rock, mixed with '80 wildest solos and blues.
Their lyrics are nothing more than expressive thoughts from our daylife. Talking about the rock scene, sex, politic, tragedies and pleasures, relationships, drugs, alcohol, violence, society system (which is the title of one of their first songs), etc...
Musically, all their members have got different influences, but rocketwist'n roll comes out naturally. "It most be simple, stripped and aggressive." The chicks cot attention! Not only because they are females, they also know how to do it over the stage.
