THE .22 STORY
A story that made me change my views on the .22
A .22 isn't a man stopper unless placed in the head or a vital, but when fired multi-times in one given area, it's like being hit with buckshot and very lethal. Some use it for self defense, but the main issue is a rim fire cartridge isn't as reliable as a center fire. For sure, a .22 is not a t...

You might want to know that I was told at Lone Wolf that if I converted from .40 to 9mm all I would need is the barrel and a 9mm glock magazine, but if I had planned to shot the 115 grain 9mm, I was advised to get a lighter spring. I did that, because I will be shooting the lighter 115.

@sailwed1 Yes you can. The diameter of the 9mm will fit a .40 because the outside diameter is the same. You'll notice the 9mm barrel is thicker. Contact Lone Wolf.

Clarity023 And who investigated Obama? Do you have some names? You speak of birthers not having common sense. Don't you know yet that insider politicians can fix anything? If this is untrue, then why do criminals on wall street go unpunished? Common sense it is.

I was told you don't have to change the spring when you convert from .40 to 9 on a Glock, but if you want to shoot the 115 gr 9 it's best to go with the lighter spring assembly or there can be ejection issues. I was told this by Long Wolf.

@Newvamp Very true that pistols have terrible disadvantages over rifles and shotguns, but since it's all we can carry as a CCW we would want the most effective proven round. Let's recall the reason for the 1911 .45 in the first place. The .38 didn't do the job and 9mm is a .38cal. Placement counts the most as you say, but if you are off target a little with the .45 it won't matter. I'll take the .45 in a real gun fight. Just my opinion.
