Ok, when I first heard this song some years ago I thought it was Black Crows. NICE to see some some kids keeping up the rock/blues thing... The kid blazing on the blues six-string just kills it.

And the actual name of this song on the soundtrack is "Theme to The Big Green Van'...

Well, they've got a real quirky Beck /Cake vibe going for them.

There was a great comment on a local radio show here in Seattle about Joy Division...

When you consider the pre-packaged pop that's cranked out these days, it's really refreshing to see a singer and a band that let's their music make their point rather than their media assault.

Ok, the band without Steve [GREATEST ELECTRONICA LIVE DRUMMER EVER] and Gillian is sucky...

The sound quality and faithfullness to the original track [That would be Substance, Disc 2] is wonderful.

But New Order is Hooky, Steve, Gillian, and Bernie. Everybody else are just Musician's Union stud...

The Unplugged version with a full orchestra was just wonderful.

Harriet Wheeler (Sundays), Shirley Manson (Garbage), Beth Gibbons (Portishead), Dolores O'Riordan (Cranberries), Tara Sloan (Joydrop)... the '90's were a great time for female vocalists...
