BIOGRAPHY
Roberto Russo, the italian director born in Cerignola in 1966 and living in Rome since 1994, has made his first appearence on television in 1995 with the "Blobine", fulminating satirical videofragments broadcast by "Blob" on RAITRE; between 1996 and 1998 he has been guest of various italian TV programmes (Telesogni, Target, Maurizio Costanzo Show, ecc.) as main inventor and promoter of "Mobìl TV", the first Italian travelling and totally independent TV station. In 1999, he issued the humorous compact disc "Answering Machine Show" which soon became a best-seller in Italy. In december of the same year, Russo is invited at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome to take part to the first Italian biennal exhibition of electronic arts. His work has received many expressions of appreciation by the national press (Il Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, L'Espresso, Panorama, etc.) and from the most important italian TV channels (Rai, Mediaset, Tmc, Tmc2, ecc.). Since 2000's he has been working as director in TV, teather, music and dance works and he has often cared the art-direction of several show events.
Awards: the spot "Poniamo che... abbiate afferrato l'idea" has received a prize by the Italian Ministry of the Public Instruction (2006); the short-metrage "The voice of the Angels" has won a prize at Foggia Indipendent Film Festival (2007).

Le régisseur Italien Roberto Russo est né à Cerignola dans les Pouilles et vit à Rome depuis 1994. Il commence son travail à la télévision nationale en 1995 avec les « Blobine », brefs fragments satiriques transmis par le programme « Blob » sur RAITRE. Entre 1996 et 1998 il est l'hôte de plusieurs émissions (Telesogni, Maurizio Costanzo Show, Target, et cetera) au titre de principal créateur et promoteur de « Mobil TV », la première station émettrice ambulante et totalement indépendante. En 1999, il édite le compact disque humoristique « Segreteria Telefonica Show » (Le Spectacle du Repondeur Téléfonique) qui contient des messages réels ou imaginaires de célèbres personnages de différents sphères de la scène Italienne.
En décembre 1999, Russo est invité au « Palazzo delle Esposizioni » de Rome pour participer à la première édition de « La Biennale delle Arti elettroniche » (Exposition Biennale des Arts Electroniques). Son travail a reçu de nombreux témoignages d'estime des plus importants journaux Italiens (Il Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, L'Espresso, Panorama, etc).
A partir de 2000, Roberto Russo a ajouté a son activité cinématographique (qui comprend la réalisation de spots, films documentaires et court- métrages) la direction artistique d'oeuvres pour le théâtre, la musique et la danse.
Louanges: Spot "Poniamo che.. " primé par le Ministère Italien de l'Instruction Publique (2006); court-metrage "La voix des Anges" primé au Festival du Cinema Indépendant de Foggia (2007).
BIOGRAFIA
Il regista Roberto Russo è nato a Cerignola (FG) nel 1966. Dopo la maturità classica, consegue l'attestato di operatore di ripresa presso il Centro Sperimentale Televisivo di Roma e nel 1992, frequenta il Centro per la Formazione Professionale Cinematografica e Televisiva di Milano.
Nel 1994 si trasferisce a Roma e l'anno successivo esordisce in televisione con le "Blobine", folgoranti siparietti satirici trasmessi da Blob su Raitre. Tra il '96 e il '99 è ospite di varie trasmissioni in onda su Rai e Mediaset (Telesogni, Cliché, Target, Maurizio Costanzo Show, ecc.) quale ideatore e principale promotore di "Mobìl TV", la prima emittente italiana itinerante e totalmente indipendente.
Nel 1999 pubblica con Parole di Cotone l'audiolibro umoristico"Segreteria Telefonica Show", firmando e interpretando anche gli spot pubblicitari dell'opera trasmessi su Mediaset, TMC e TMC2. A dicembre del '99 viene invitato al Palazzo delle Esposizioni di Roma per partecipare alla prima Biennale delle Arti Elettroniche. Il suo lavoro ha ricevuto numerosi apprezzamenti sulla stampa nazionale (Il Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, L'Espresso, Panorama, ecc.). A partire dal 2000, oltre ad occuparsi di produzione audiovisiva, è stato organizzatore e supervisore artistico di eventi scenici correlati al teatro, alla musica e alla danza.
Riconoscimenti: Premio del Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione allo Spot "Poniamo che... abbiate afferrato l'idea" (2006); Menzione speciale per il corto "La voce degli Angeli", assegnata dal Festival del Cinema Indipendente di Foggia (2007).
