This site is dedicated to Rome Total War, and I'll mainly be posting battles that I have fought online.

This game has certainly got me more interested in ancient history. At first I actually bought RTW purely because of the spectacle of commanding vast armies, just like the generals of ages past, like Alexander, and reliving the awesome battles in movies such as Troy, Alexander and Gladiator.

My favourite faction is the seleucids, because of their wide range of troops, they seem to be the most professional and organised out of the eastern bloc armies, and really just their kickass cataphracts, flags and armour.
