I am Robert Paul, a singer song-writer from the east coast. I recently move to Destin, Florida after spending two years in Nashville, Tennessee. I moved to Nashville to pursue a songwriting career. Although I made some good solid connections I wasn't happy living there. I never felt comfortable being a rock musician in a country town. My original plan was to move to Los Angeles, Ca. where I had made some strong music connections. I felt it was the best area for me to pursue a music career. The problem was making the trip all the way from Connecticut, where I was living at the time, to California. The van I owned to make the trip was very old and I didn't feel it could make such a long trip in one piece. Nashville was my second choice mainly because it is a major music city with a great sonwriting community. It was a good experience for me and while I was there I wrote and recorded some good new songs. I also spent time finishing my second CD, "PLANET X" and put together "It Must Be Paradise." I am now working on a fourth CD temporarily called, "I've Got A Crush On You" and there is, of course, my first CD, "Slay The Dragon."
