Roberto F. Canuto (Roberto Fernandez Canuto) is a filmmaker from Spain. Roberto is a graduate in Filmmaking, he obtained his bachelors degree in "Image and Sound" at the Complutense University of Madrid in 1998. He has worked as a film critic in different magazines as "Voz en Off" (also co-editor). In addition to his film experience, he has degrees in Music studies for the Royal Conservatory of Music of Oviedo (Spain). After expending a few years in London (UK), Roberto decided to persuade his passion for movies. He decided to move to Los Angeles in 2008 to complete a Masters in Fine Arts at the New York Film Academy (Universal Studios), where he directed different shorts in various formats (including Film, HD and Red Camera). He was graduated in 2009. He collaborates as a writer, editor and Director of Photography in "Mei Mei", a short movie directed by Xu Xiaoxi in 2009, between many more. "Toto Forever" is his first 16mm experience and his latest project, the thesis graduation film "Desire Street" (co-directed with Xu Xiaoxi), is in post-production.
