@GreyhoundLover12 Greyhounds don't have plenty of stamina, they have sharp bursts. Greyhounds are extremely prone to acidosis. If you knew as much as you say about Greyhounds you'd know of this condition. Whippets do not suffer form this condition commonly because they have better endurance.

As soon as a Whippet or Greyhound gets down low and spread their front legs like in this clip that is a sign they are ready to play or run around like crazy doing their circle work sprints.

I was going to get a WOlfhound, but the thought of losing a companion after such a short time was something I couldn't come to terms with. So I bought a Whippet instead. Magnificent animals the Wolfhounds.As are all the sighthounds.

@MsRinka99 You are probbably closest to being on the money. Have met quite a few people who have told me they own a "purebred" pitbull, which means very little. No pedigree, no certainty it's what they say it is. Nothing to say this dog isn't an Am Staff.

@Heathstrub You've obviously never owned a Whippet. Nothing you've said shows an understanding of them. Whippets form very strong bonds with their owners. Totally devoted they are. Thus they won't chase cars unless their owner is in it(like the dog in this video). Also Whippets would hate jogging...
