5-10-10: SOE announces that Tanarus will be shut down in 30 days.

6-11-10: The game was shut down

6-12-10: An idea was born




The idea was to recreate Tanarus, not only in one image, but in many. Our playerbase full of nerds, geeks, and computer dorks springs into action to rebuild the world of Tanarus... from scratch. So far, four games are in progress being created:

Our playerbase of Tanarus refugees has gathered here: http://forums.battleop.com to communicate with each other and work on the games' development. Our dev teams consist of Tanarus players with knowledge of 3d modeling and game programming, and also numerous generous donatees. If you are a Tanarus refugee, go join the forums to keep in touch with your fellow players or track the games' progress.
